Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig Sept. 21 in 1983) is an acclaimed American actor. Particularly, she was the character Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV show as well as Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. Maggie Grace, originally from Worthington in Ohio, left high school and moved in Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. As she struggled financially, she was able to land her first role as the title character in the online video series Rachel's Room in 2001. Grace was a part of the show's sixth season that aired from 2013 to 2014. She plays Faith as a groupie, and also a model for stars. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. She is part of Gyllenhaal's family and is the elder sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. As a teenager She began working on small roles with her father. She was also in Donnie Darko alongside her brother. Then she appeared in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for her leading performances in the erotic romance comedy drama Secretary (2002) and the drama Sherrybaby (2006) each of which resulted in a Golden Globe Award nomination. The actress gained more attention for her role as Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008), thanks to several successful commercial films she starred in the year 2006.
