Matthew Matt James born in North Carolina 5 December 1991. Parents are Manny James, and Patty James. He has the Nigerian father and a Caucasian mother. In 2010 he graduated of Sanderson High School and furthered into Wake Forest University where he received a Bachelor's degree from Economics in 2015. James became famous when his appearance on The Bachelorette as a reality TV star. James was selected in the year 2020 as the bachelor of the year in The Bachelor season 25, making him the initial African American male star. The show premiered later in the year. James' fit was perfect for the part because He is attractive, well-rounded and large-bodied personality. Rachael Krkconnell was picked to play his partner during the season. In season 30 (in 2021) of Dancing with the Stars, he competed with the famous dancer Arnold. James and Arnold took 12th place.
